so I'm finally taking a photography class this winter term. I'm so excited! but after being told that we'd only be using film cameras by everyone who ever took the class and then finding out that the teacher is allowing people to use digital cameras in the class kind of pissed me off.
I mean sure, it's awesome that they're finally allowing that but I think they should have their own class for digital. it seems like such an unfair advantage for them considering they can take hundreds of pictures and pick and choose which ones to use, while all the film users are stuck with whatever 36 images they shot. Bleh.
so since I have a film camera and I'm only allowed to use slide film, it'll take me a while to figure out how and where to convert my slides to digital images so I can post them. (if any of them turned out ok). the lighting here sucks cuz of all the doom and gloom clouds. I have to take my shutter speed down to a crawl to be able to get enough light in the picture and I lost the mount to my tripod. grr.
oh well, it's only the second week into the term and I'm a little frazzled. I'll get things in order soon enough.
